Know your audience ...

Toastmasters taught me a lot, 2001 - 2010. "Know your audience" was an advice mantra to coach any physical presentation. For virtual 'presentations', knowing one's audience is a persistent riddle! An initial guess about who is landing here –
I intend to address my high school and middle school friends. If you don't fit that, then pretend we have been acquainted for years.

Over the years this grandpa has stopped imagining large audiences, and has stopped writing 'manifestos'. My intent is to share with a few, and to do that on an ad free personal platform ... which is not harvesting my social graph, birth date, consumer preferences ... that invasive 'data collection'.
